Hi! I love your channel, it has helped me allot since i purchased my printer in November. I am looking at converting my ender 3 v2 to direct extrusion and cant really find a lot out there on what kit to use or what ones will actually work with the ender 3 v2. Any suggestions/advice you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I converted my Ender 5 Pro to what I call semi-direct-drive. What I did was to make an aluminum plate to attach to the stock hotend plate. I then moved the extruder & its stepper motor to the new plate & connected it to the hotend with a very short length of Capricorn tubing. So far, it has worked well.
If I wanted to improve on this setup I would move to an all-in-one direct drive hotend. This is a hotend where the extruder & hotend are built as 1 unit. This helps reduce the distance from the extruder to the top of the hotend to almost nothing. There are a number of manufacturers of such units.
